I recently discovered an obsession with Queer Eye. I didn’t watch the original show and didn’t think too much into when it was rebooted on Netflix, but all my friends kept talking about it. They kept referencing the Fab Five and I felt like I needed to see what this show was all about.
I decided to give the show a try and what better time to catch up than right before season three was released. I found myself melted into my couch for hours upon hours. There was no saving me. I was now a Queer Eye watcher and there was no turning back. I started thinking more and more about the Fab Five and how Bobby Berk is my personal favorite, but what seems like America’s least favorite and there is evidence to back this up!
Bespoke Surgical recently did a study on the most popular fab five member in each state. Turns out, I may be one of the only people who love Bobby Berk because out of all the states, he is only the favorite in two. C’mon America, Bobby deserves more love than that!

Jonathan Van Ness was the leader by a landslide, is the favorite Fab Five member in 24 states. Tan France came in second with 12 states. Karamo Brown came in third with nine states, and Antoni Porowski leads in four states.
Even when it comes to social media, Bobby Berk is behind in followers. Bobby has only 1.6 million followers on Instagram. Although, he is not too far behind Karamo Brown who only has 1.7 million followers. So, if we all go “follow” Bobby now, he could make a comeback.

Bespoke said to find these results they used Google Trends search interest data collected from January 2017 (the announcement of the reboot) to February 2019 (the announcement of season three). They compared the search interest on the names of the Fab Five and analyzed the data to determine the most popular in each state.
