Country Singer Justin Carter Dies After Accidental Shooting From Gun Used As Music Video Prop

Justin Carter, a rising star in the country music industry, is dead at age 35. According to reports, Carter passed away after being shot in a freak accident during a music video shoot. The death occurred at his apartment in Houston, according to ABC 13.

Reports state that Carter died after suffering a gunshot wound from a gun that was supposed to be a prop for the video.

“Justin had a potential, in our eyes and a lot of people’s eyes, to be the next Garth Brooks,” said Triple Threat Management spokesperson Mark Atherton in a statement.

Triple Threat Management had recently signed Carter to a deal.

Carter was working on his latest album at the time of his death. Despite being unable to finish the project, Triple Threat Management has announced that they will be releasing the rest of Carter’s music with all of the proceeds going to his family.

Justin Carter Cause of Death: Accidental Shooting

Carter passed away while recording his solo album. The country music singer, who was widely regarded as a budding star in the industry, was 35 years old at the time of his death. Carter suffered a gunshot wound that ultimately took his life. The weapon used in the accidental shooting was intended to be a prop in a music video shoot.

“His music was his world,” said Carter’s mother, Cindy McClellan. “He was always there for everybody.”
