Since premiere in April 2011, Game Of Thrones has gone on to become one of, if not the biggest television show in the history of the medium.
Watched obsessively by an increasingly record-breaking audience, Game Of Thrones has almost redefined what television can be because of how widely it’s consumed, as the show currently airs in 186 countries around the world.
However, while the show may have spread further than any show before it, the height of its popularity remains in the United States.
Including viewers on their various streaming services, the season seven premiere of the HBO epic raked in over 30 million viewers in the United States, and that’s not counting all the people who stream the show legally, which is something it’s become unfortunately notorious for.
However, if you’re not one of those people who are willing to watch the show legally but also don’t subscribe to HBO, how can you watch the show? Hulu is certainly one way.
Is Game Of Thrones on Hulu?
Technically, yes, Game Of Thrones is on Hulu, but only if you have the HBO add-on included in your Hulu subscription. The HBO add-on costs $14.99 per month.
So, just to be clear, while Game Of Thrones is not included in Hulu’s base package, it does become available if you add-on HBO to your subscription for $14.99 per month.
Hulu’s base package, which forces you to watch ads during your shows, costs $5.99 per month. The upgraded version, that comes with no ads, costs $11.99 per month.
Given that streaming is the future of media, you may as well hop on board now. Half of the fun of Game Of Thrones is being able to discuss what happened with other people and the window to do that will be over sooner rather than later.
The eighth and final season of HBO’s Emmy Award-winning drama premieres on Sunday, April 14 at 9 p.m. EST.
