Moran Atias, born on April 9, 1981, in Israel, is an Israeli actress and model who is best known for her role on the FX series Tyrant and the NBC drama The Village.
Atias, who was born in Haifa, Israel, began acting when she was just 15-years-old when she appeared on a youth TV series titled Out of Focus.
Because she was unable to serve in the Israeli Defense Forces due to a meningitis diagnosis, Atias began pursuing a modeling career in Germany and Italy. She eventually landed her big break when she became a model for famed Italian fashion designer Roberto Cavalli.
