Moran Atias, born on April 9, 1981, in Israel, is an Israeli actress and model who is best known for her role on the FX series Tyrant and the NBC drama The Village.

Atias, who was born in Haifa, Israel, began acting when she was just 15-years-old when she appeared on a youth TV series titled Out of Focus.

Because she was unable to serve in the Israeli Defense Forces due to a meningitis diagnosis, Atias began pursuing a modeling career in Germany and Italy. She eventually landed her big break when she became a model for famed Italian fashion designer Roberto Cavalli.

While establishing herself as a successful model, Atias also continued to further her acting career, appearing in foreign and domestic films such as Gas, The Roses of the Desert, The Mother of Tears, Land of The Lost, The Next Three Days, Crazy Eyes, and Third Person.

In March 2019, Atias began starring on the NBC melodrama The Village. Atias, an Israeli actress, portrays Edda, an Iranian immigrant who is detained by immigration officers due to fraudulent citizenship papers.

It takes a village .. and one Moty Rief @mottyreif to create Tel Aviv Fashion week. I’m so proud of the leader that you are. The grace and humanity that you bring to Fashion is admirable and last night at @yvel_jewelry show you celebrated women and brought attention to an organization that helps empower women. Your work is blessed and I was honored to walk on the runway (something I haven’t done in Years). A few more days in the best city and then back to my LA home to join my own Village family and the premiere of our show. @nbcthevillage March 19th. What an exciting time!! ❤ Styling @mazalhason Makeup @chenelkabetz Hair @adirjacob Dress @oriaazran_ Shoes @crazy4heelshoes Photographer @eliranavital_photographer ⭐⭐ Layla tov Tel Aviv.

To all the singles that don’t have romantic plans for today or even fantastic Galentine drinking fest because they thought to now fall into the commercial parade and honestly forgot it’s today. Today even though we are reminded of the couples around us it’s ok that we still haven’t found the one. It’s ok that we didn’t want to compromise or just be with someone to not be alone. When we will be ready and find the right one we won’t need Valentine to remind us of the importance of our relationship. I love any holiday that celebrates anything so don’t get me wrong I will totally be sending flowers and hearts and make plans but today it’s ok to love myself. Which is probably what I hope I can practice and truly own before I can share my life with someone else. So single amazing ladies and Gentleman toast to yourself and tell your self how much you love, yourself. Happy Love Day ❤ #valentinesday2019 #lovemyself
