With just a little over a month to go until its world premiere, Marvel Studios dropped the second and likely final trailer for Avengers: Endgame this morning and its just utterly epic … despite the fact that it doesn’t reveal much.
Similar to the first trailer, while this trailer is considerably light on plot details — once again, they don’t even show Thanos — it does well to set the desperate mood of the remaining Avengers, such as Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Black Widow, Hawkeye, etc.
Since Thanos’ snap of his finger, the team does seem to have adopted a new mantra: “Whatever it takes”.
And while the trailer doesn’t reveal much about the plot or the movie in general, it does give us our first look at Ant-Man and Captain Marvel in action with the rest of the team for the first time.
Avengers: Endgame will star Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Mark Ruffalo, Tom Holland, Chris Pratt, Benedict Cumberbatch, and more. At the time of its release, it will be the 22nd film in the 11-year old Marvel Cinematic Universe.
It is directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, who previously directed Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Captain America: Civil War, and Avengers: Infinity War.
The movie will be preceded by Captain Marvel and will be followed up by Spider-Man: Far From Home.
Avengers: Endgame will hit theaters in the United States on Friday, April 26.
