Nerd culture (and I say that endearingly considering I consume a majority of the entertainment out there that’s considered “nerdy”) and shoe culture are two very different subsections of pop culture, and because of that, they rarely intersect. But Game Of Thrones — a PROUD representative of nerd culture and entertainment — has broken through the zeitgeist in a way that few, if any, fantasy franchises ever have before, and because of that, it’s redefining exactly how nerd culture is defined.
