Mallory Pugh, born on April 29, 1998, in Highlands Ranch, Colorado, is an American professional soccer player who plays as a forward for the Washington Spirit of the National Women’s Soccer League and the United States Women’s National Team.

Pugh, who began playing soccer when she was just four-years-old, attended Mountain Vista High School in Highlands Ranch, scoring 47 goals and recording 23 assists during her high school soccer career.

During her junior year at Mountain Vista High School in 2015, Pugh named the U.S. Soccer Young Female Player of the Year and Gatorade National Girls Soccer Player of the Year.

While Pugh had plans to attend UCLA to play soccer after high school, she was named to the United States squad that would be traveling to the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Pugh, who is expected to represent the United States at the 2019 Women’s World Cup in France, made her senior debut for the squad on January 23, 2016, in an international friendly against Ireland.

While the official USWNT roster for the 2019 World Cup has yet to be officially announced at the time of this writing, Pugh was featured heavily in US Soccer’s promotion of this year’s kits, making her a more than likely selection for the squad.
