Tim Means suffered a brutal knockout loss at UFC on ESPN+4 in Wichita, Kansas after taking a heavy right hook from Niko Price. As Means was dropping to the canvas from the devastating blow, his leg twisted awkwardly and a serious injury was evident.
As it turns out, Means immediately needed to undergo surgery for the damage done to his leg.
According to Means, he suffered a broken leg and ankle.
“I do my best to leave it all in the ring every time out so the fans can get what they paid for,” Means wrote. “Wasn’t my night. I have to get surgery, broken [tibia] and ankle. Niko caught me with a punch and my foot got stuck under me. Much respect to [Price] . See y’all down the road. Thank you to everyone for the kind words.”
The photo of his injured ankle is more than disturbing.
