UFC 235 Fighter Salaries: Jon Jones, Tyron Woodley Earn Equal Pay

The Ultimate Fighting Championship returned to Sin City on Saturday, March 2 with UFC 235. The event featured two title fights, with Jon Jones vs. Anthony Smith for the light heavyweight championship in the main event and Tyron Woodley vs. Kamaru Usman for the welterweight title serving as the co-main event of the night.

Following the event, the Nevada State Athletic Commission released the official fighter purses from the event with Jones and Woodley both bringing in north of $500,000 total.

Other fighters to top six figures were Anthony Smith, new welterweight champion Kamaru Usman, debutant Ben Askren, The Ultimate Fighter 1 winner Diego Sanchez, Robbie Lawler, Cody Garbrandt, Pedro Munhoz, Johnny Walker, and Zabit Magomedsharipov.

The figures released do not include any money from outside sponsors. UFC 235 purses also exclude any locker room bonuses but do figure in the $50,000 for Fight of the Night and Performance of the night bonuses along with the required Reebok outfitting pay.
