If you’re a fan of Pokemon, you are excited for the live-action Detective Pikachu which was first announced last year. Now, we have a new look at the film thanks to a recently released trailer from Warner Bros.
If the latest trailer is any indication, the film, which features Ryan Reynolds as Pikachu, is going to be a hit.
Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom‘s Justice Smith co-stars in the film as a man named Tim who was once hoping to be a Pokemon trainer.
“I have all the original generation Pokemon cards,” So does my sister. We used to play the card game all the time even though we didn’t know the rules,” Smith previously told The Hollywood Reporter. “We would make up our own rules based off what we knew about the video game and the TV show.”
The film is set to premiere on May 10, 2019.
