Fans of Mac Miller have continued to be treated to new music since his untimely death. In late 2018, previously unreleased Mac Miller music came in the form of Spotify Singles and now we have a brand new verse featuring the late-rapper. Before he passed away, Miller recorded a verse for up-and-coming rapper Seth Hirsch’s single titled “Say Goodbye.”

The emotional track details a toxic relationship and Miller’s heartfelt delivery shows his battle with his own inner demons while also bringing a soothing vibe to the Nottz-produced beat.

The song’s about toxic relationships,” Hirsch said about the track, “and dealing with someone whose shitty towards [you], sucks up all your energy, and keeps taking advantage of your time and emotions. But after Mac passed away, I realized this song was about a lot more than that. It’s really about struggling to say goodbye to our personal demons and the chains they put on us. That night we got the news about Mac, Nottz and I were in the studio just listening to his verse a cappella and it gave me chills. This song is such a window into Mac Miller’s soul and what he was going through.”

The song is officially set for release Thursday, February 14 and will be available on all streaming platforms, but fans can get an early listen with the song on audiomack.

Proceeds from the single will go to the shooting victims from Tree of Life synagogue in Miller’s hometown of Pittsburgh.

You can listen to the song below.
