Saturday Night Live has not been afraid to tackle political skits throughout its history and they are now at an all-time high thanks to the real-life comedy that has been provided from the political landscape. This weekend, SNL decided to use one of their skits to give shoutouts to the “Women of Congress” who have been as outspoken and fierce as ever in their opposition of the president.

The skit — which was a Charlie’s Angels parody — featured characters like Nancy “Madame Clap Back” Pelosi, Alexandria “I Say What I Meme” Ocasio-Cortez, Maxine “Don’t Go Chasing” Waters, Rashida “Impeach The Motherf***er” Tlaib, and others.

Halsey, Cecily Strong, Aidy Bryant, Melissa Villaseñor, Leslie Jones, Heidi Gardner, Kate McKinnon, and Ego Nwodim all appeared in the skit with some very uncanny impressions.

As the congresswomen were dressed during Donald Trump’s “State of the Union” address last week in the House chambers, the characters on SNL were also decked out in their suffragette whites which were worn to protest misogyny and racism.

If the women in Congress continue their current trend, this won’t be the last we see of some of these characters on the show.

You can watch the full skit below.

First they were women, and then they were fed up women, now they are the women of Congress (Halsey, Cecily Strong, Aidy Bryant, Melissa Villaseñor, Leslie Jones, Heidi Gardner, Kate McKinnon, Ego Nwodim).

This week’s episode of Saturday Night Live was hosted by musical artist Halsey, who also performed two of her hit songs, “Without Me” and “Eastside.”
