Selleck Then and Now: 2010-Present
In 2010 Tom Selleck joined the cast of CBS’s Blue Bloods a show centered around the NYPD police commissioner, played by Selleck and his multigenerational family. Selleck is the patriarch of the family and he keeps everyone in line and always manages to deliver a good moral by the end of the sixty-minute family drama they are all sitting at dinner discussing their day. This show took the cop drama genre and added it’s one familial twist to it.
Selleck has managed to create quite a legacy for himself with an iconic fan following. There isn’t one person who doesn’t know this actor. Either from his stint as Richard on Friends, his main role as Thomas Magnum on Magnum P.I. or one of his most famous roles yet as Commissioner Frank Reagan on Blue Bloods. I can’t wait to see what other projects Tom will be apart of in the future.
Until then it looks like I’ll have to binge watch Blue Bloods reruns on Netflix!
