UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov won’t be returning to the Octagon anytime soon after receiving his suspension from the Nevada State Athletic Commission following a post-UFC 229 brawl when he jumped into the crowd following his win over Conor McGregor.

However, that doesn’t mean he will be out of work.

As it turns out, Khabib is set to host an “extreme” reality television show in Kazakhstan.

The show, titled “The Nomads,” will begin filming in Kazakhstan in May, according to multiple Russian media outlets. Nurmagomedov will co-host the show which is in the second season of production. The first episode is reportedly targeted for a February 2020 premiere date.

“The Nomads,” which aims to popularize Kazakh culture and attract tourists, will include two teams of world-famous athletes and Olympic champions and will air in 118 countries.

“We were re-constructing old fortresses and dwellings for the show, to reproduce the medieval surroundings with the help of various decorations,” said Asylbek Ismagambetov, the head of the Sandyktau region in Kazakhstan, as transcribed by RT.com. “Local people also want to take part in filming the show as background artists.”

As for MMA, Nurmagomedov is currently serving a nine-month suspension and $500,000 fine.
