J. Cole is the master of hype, and this week he generated plenty of buzz by wiping his Instagram account clean. Then, on Tuesday, January 22, the hip-hop star and lyrical genius announced that he would be dropping his latest single in just 24 hours.
The single, titled “Middle Child,” is set to drop at 9:00 p.m. ET on Wednesday, January 23.
T-Mins, who produced “Kevin’s Heart” with Mark Pelli on the 4 Your Eyez Only album, is the man responsible for the beat according to Cole. So we should expect nothing but fire from the upcoming single.
There is no word on whether J. Cole will add the upcoming track to a new album or whether it will be released as a standalone single, so we will just have to stay tuned.
