Justin Bieber is a household name, but did you know about his mom? Pattie Mallette deserves to have more attention despite birthing one of the most irritatable celebrities on the planet. So we are going to do just that.
Pattie, who was born in Stratford, Ontario, Canada, was Bieber’s first manager and has already written a top 20 book. Her autobiography, Nowhere but Up, was released in 2017 and become a New York Times Best Seller in its first week.
The book focuses on her upbringing, which was dominated by sexual abuse and violence.
Mallette first began managing Bieber when he was on the come-up after breaking out in 2007 with his rendition of the Ne-Yo hit song “So Sick” at the local “Stratford Star” talent show. Bieber finished in second place, but went on to have plenty of success in the industry.
