Amber Rose Revah, born on June 24, 1986, in London, England, is an English actress who is best known for portraying the daughter of Saddam Hussein in the BBC and HBO drama series House of Saddam. In addition to her role of Hala Hussein in House of Saddam, Revah is also known her roles in the religious television series Son of God, and the films From Paris With Love and Aazaan. Since 2017, Revah has been best known for playing Dinah Madani in the Netflix and Marvel television series The Punisher.
Revah, who studied at Brunel University, hired an agent when she was just 17-years-old. In 2007, she made her acting debut as Begum in the film The World Unseen. The following year, she got her big break when she portrayed Hala Hussein in BBC drama series House of Saddam.
Since 2017, Revah has starred as Dinah Madani alongside Jon Bernthal in the Netflix and Marvel Studios series The Punisher Revah’s character Dinah Madani is an Iranian-American Department of Homeland Security agent stationed in Afghanistan whose returns to New York City crosses her path with Bernthal’s Frank Castle.
In addition to her roles in House of Saddam, Son of God,From Paris With Love Aazaan, and The Punisher , Revah has appeared in various film and television projects such as The Devil’s Double, Everywhere and Nowhere, I Can’t Think Straight, Henna Night, London Life, Women of the Bible, Borgia, the Mystery of Edwin Drood, What Remains, Foyle’s Wars, Silent Witness, Indian Summers, Midsomer Murders, and Emerald City.
