The Clemson football program is searching for its third national championship — and second in three years — when they take on the Alabama Crimson Tide in the College Football Playoff National Championship Game at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California on Monday, January 7.
Dabo Swinney’s squad has emerged as a budding dynasty in recent years and their constant flow of talent has led to one of the most explosive offenses in the country.
Led by freshman sensation Trevor Lawrence and running back Travis Etienne, the Tigers average 274.1 passing yards, 256.3 rushing yards, and 44.3 points per game; ranking in the top 25 in all three statistical categories.
On the defensive side of the ball, the Tigers have allowed just 13.7 points per game which is tied for second in the country. Clemson is led on the defensive side of the ball by All-Americans Clelin Ferrell and Christian Wilkins.
