Alabama Football: Did Drake Just Curse The Crimson Tide?

Is the Drake curse real? Alabama football fans seem to be concerned. Ahead of the Crimson Tide’s appearance in the College Football Playoff National Championship Game against the Clemson Tigers, the team tweeted out a photo that shows the hip-hop star sharing his support for Nick Saban’s squad.

The promo video sent out by the Crimson Tide has Alabama fans worried about the dreaded “Drake curse.”

What is the Drake curse? Well, just take a look at previous sporting events and teams that the rapper has thrown his support behind. SPOILER ALERT: It is not pretty.

The bowl season will run through Monday, Jan. 7, 2019, when the national championship takes place. The College Football Playoff National Championship Presented by AT&T takes place at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif. The Crimson Tide enter the game as the No. 1 team in the country as they attempt to repeat as national champions, while Clemson sits at No. 2.

The two teams will be going head-to-head for the title for the third time in four years, while also meeting in each of the four years since the College Football Playoff was introduced.

Kickoff between the two teams is set for 8:00 p.m. ET on ESPN.

The network will offer various viewing options for fans which include audio from their preferred team and also Spanish and English options. along with multiple camera angles of the big game.
