Megan Boone Returns To TV Tonight On ‘The Blacklist’

Megan Boone, born on April 29, 1983, in Petoskey, Michigan, is an American actress who is best known for her starring role as Elizabeth Keen on the NBC drama action series The Blacklist, which stars James Spader.

In addition to her starring role on NBC’s The Blacklist, Keen has also been a regular cast member on the quickly-canceled Law & Order: LA. Keen has also appeared in various films such as My Bloody Valentine 3D in 2009 and Step Up Revolution in 2012.

Prior to becoming a successful actress, Boone was born in Petoskey, Michigan before being raised in Florida. Boone attended Belleview High School to study acting before eventually graduating in 2001. Following high school, Boone attended Florida State University’s School of Theatre, where she graduated from with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting in 2005.

Boone began acting right after college, starring in the 2007 Los Angeles debut of the play Limonade Tous Les Jours. For her performance, she won two LA Weekly Theater Awards for her performance.

In 2009, she made her feature film debut in the horror film My Bloody Valentine 3D. In 2010, she nailed down a supporting role in Sex and the City 2 and portrayed Junior Deputy District Attorney Lauren Stanton in the NBC series Law & Order: LA, which was canceled after just one season.

In 2012, Boone starred in independent drama Leave Me Like You Found Me, and in 2013, she landed a recurring role on the CBS police drama series Blue Bloods. Also in 2013, Boone began starring as FBI agent Elizabeth Keen in the NBC series The Blacklist, which has become her biggest and most successful role to date.

Boone and The Blacklist returned for their sixth season on Thursday, January 3, 2019.
