Izabelle Kostic, a mixed martial arts reporter from Sweden, was involved in one of the signature moments of the “UFC 232: Jones vs. Gustafsson 2” pre-fight press conference in California on Thursday, December 27. Kostic was one of the many reporters to question Jon Jones about his latest flagged drug test — which forced the pay-per-view event to be moved from Las Vegas to California on less than a weeks notice — and the former light heavyweight champion did not take to it kindly.

Jones immediately dismissed Kostic with a “next question.”

He then continued to berate the reporter when she moved her line of questioning to Dana White but Jones interrupted her and began to talk over her while giving her a thumbs down and urging the crowd to boo her.

“Sit down. Someone take the mic from her. Better questions. Better journalism,” Jones said. “You suck. Have you been listening?”

What did you make of Jon Jones' behavior towards a reporter who asked about his latest drug-test situation during the #UFC232 press conference?

It was an awkward moment, but Kostic continued on with a smile. Meanwhile, for Jones, it was a brutal moment for a man who is attempting to rebuild his image after setting a UFC record by being stripped of his title three times and for failing multiple drug tests.

Kostic is a reporter for Swedish MMA website Kimura. She often appears on the site’s MMA panel, discussing past and upcoming events.

While not very active on social media, you can give Kostic a follow on Twitter.

UFC 232 takes place at The Forum in Inglewood, California on Saturday, December 29. The event will air live on pay-per-view beginning at 10:00 p.m. ET. Along with the light heavyweight title fight between Jones and Gustafsson, a women’s superfight between featherweight champion Cris Cyborg and women’s bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes will serve as the co-main event of the night as the promotion wraps up a busy year.
