The Ultimate Fighting Championship closes out a wild year on Saturday, December 29 with UFC 232 live from The Forum in Inglewood, California. Leading up to the pay-per-view event — which is headlined by a light heavyweight title fight between Jon Jones and Alexander Gustafsson — there was plenty of drama with a last-minute change of location.
Initially scheduled for Las Vegas, the event was moved to California just one week away from fight night after a trace amount of the anabolic steroid turinabol was found in Jones’ system; a substance that led to his most recent suspension. Despite the drama, the event will go one.
In the co-main event, women’s featherweight champion Cris Cyborg faces a tough test when she defends her title against bantamweight titleholder Amanda Nunes.
Ahead of Saturday night’s pay-per-view, the UFC released the UFC 232: Countdown episode which gives an all-access look at the fighters as they go through their fight camps and prepare for the biggest bouts of their lives. From last-minute training to a look at their everyday life, UFC 232: Countdown gives fans a look behind-the-scenes at what it takes to make a world class fighter.
