Nasim Pedrad, born on November 18, 1981, in Iran, is an actress and comedian who began on Saturday Night Live and has since gone on to appear in major Disney live-action productions.
Pedrad’s career really kicked off when she began starring on the long-running NBC sketch comedy show Saturday Night Live. Pedrad appeared on the show for five seasons from 2009 to 2014. Following Saturday Night Live, Pedrad went on to star in TV shows such as Mulaney, Scream Queens, People of Earth, and New Girl.
In 2019, Pedrad starred in Disney’s live-action remake of their classic children’s fantasy film Aladdin, which starred Will Smith as the iconic genie.
