WATCH: Lil Pump Mocks Asians In New Song ‘Butterfly Doors’; Twitter Reacts

In today’s day and age, you have to be very careful about what you post on social media. Rising rap star Lil Pump didn’t seem to get that memo, however. Over the weekend, Pump took to social media to release a preview of a new song titled “Butterfly Doors.” Immediately, you hear his signature flow and a catchy beat, but a combination of the lyrics that came later and a gesture made by Lil Pump quickly had fans turning sour on the tune.

In the video, lyrics can be heard mocking Asians while Lil Pump squints his eyes.

“Butterfly door, they call me Yao Ming cause my eyes real low. Ching Chong,” Pump can be heard rapping while making the gesture.

This is just the latest mishap of the month for Lil Pump, who was arrested on Thursday, December 13 while flying from Miami to Los Angeles. Pump and his manager were arrested for disorderly conduct and his luggage was searched. While it had a strong scent of marijuana, no drugs were found inside.

Lil Pump has yet to comment on the controversy, and it’s highly unlikely he will. The internet, however, had plenty to say about what was considered to be highly offensive and racist — for obvious reasons. You can check out some of the Twitter reaction below.

“Why are you so confident about your disgusting songs and gestures? Oh man, I think I need to wash my ears after listening [to] your f***ing words as a great Asian,” one person responded, according to TMZ.com.

“That Ching Chong part ain’t it,” another Twitter user wrote.
