Cardi B is finally ready for her time in the passenger’s seat of “Carpool Karaoke.” The 26-year-old rap star is set to join James Corden for the popular segment on the Monday, December 17 episode of The Late Late Show. It has been a wild 2018 for Cardi B, who set a number of Billboard records and also was in headlines for a brief marriage to Migos rapper Offset, who she had a child with.
The two recently split, but in the “Carpool Karaoke” segment you can see her gigantic ring since it was filmed prior to reports that Offset had cheated.
Ahead of the airing of the full segment, CBS and The Late Late Show took to YouTube to drop a teaser to give us an idea of what we should expect. Of course, there is plenty of Cardi goofiness and some of her biggest hits like “Bodak Yellow” and “Money.”
We also get to see Cardi B attempt to take Corden’s whip for a spin and, well, that doesn’t go over to well. She then takes some time to give out advice to a group of young children who are observing the filming of her segment.
“What’s up children! Stay in school!” she says. “Listen to your mom or you won’t be getting no Christmas gifts.”
