Bellator MMA
Bellator MMA returns to action for the first of two events this weekend in Honolulu, Hawaii. The first event, Bellator 212, is in partnership with USO and has been dubbed a “Salute the Troops” event. In the main event of Bellator MMA, Brent Primus will be putting his lightweight championship on the line against former titleholder Michael Chandler in a rematch of their 2017 bout.
In the first meeting between the two men at Bellator NYC on June 24, 2017, Primus claimed the title in the first round due to a leg injury suffered by Chandler. The win kept Primus’ professional record at a perfect 8-0.
In the co-main event, former UFC heavyweight champion Frank Mir faces Javy Ayala.
