Ahead of the Pageant, the Miss Universe National Costume Competition was aired on December 10, 2018, via live stream at 10 A.M. ET/7 A.M. PT (17:00 SAST). The National Costume Competition took place in Bangkok, Thailand this year. Each of the 94 contestants has showcased a costume that represents their nation in an elaborate display of color and culture from around the world.

The 2018 Miss Universe Competition airs LIVE on Sunday, December 16, 2018. The kickoff show is set to begin at 7 P.M. ET on FOX and will be available for free on Youtube. The three-hour event will feature women representing nearly 100 countries competing in multiple categories.

The 2018 Miss Universe will take place in Bangkok, Thailand.
Over the pageant’s 67-year history, Bangkok has hosted Miss Universe in 1992 and 2005, with representatives of Thailand also capturing the crown twice in 1965 and 1988. This year, TW Investment Group will host the 2018 Miss Universe and support in organizing the competition in Thailand.
