Have you ever thought about naming your kid Super Bowl? Well, apparently some huge football fans in Hawaii followed through on their love of the game and inked it down on a birth certificate. How do we know this? Because a man named Super Bowl Akerise was arrested after being accused of assaulting another man in Aiea, which is located in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Super Bowl was arrested on suspicion of second-degree assault and first-degree terroristic threatening.

From Honolulu News Now:

Police records say the suspect, whose name is Super Bowl Akerise, got into an argument with a 26-year-old man and “used a dangerous instrument to cause bodily injury to the complainant.” It happened around 11:45 p.m. After the incident, the suspect then allegedly threatened bystanders with a dangerous instrument, then left the scene.

If this was your Average Joe, the story likely would’ve been a footnote. However, when you’re running around rocking a name like Super Bowl, you are going to draw some extra attention. And it seems like the 26-year-old man’s parents were a huge fan of the NFL and probably attended a Pro Bowl or two back in their day.

This wasn’t Super Bowl’s first run-in with law enforcement, either.

Two weeks ago, the Samoan was written up for harassment, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, and two counts of criminal contempt of court. As for his current situation regarding the assault, he has since been released by the Honolulu Police Department while they investigate.

Oh, and for those wondering, you have until February 3, 2019 for Super Bowl 53 which will take place at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia and air on CBS.
