Screen Actors Guild
On Wednesday, December 12, the Screen Actors Guild announced its roster of nominations for the 25th annual SAG Awards. The SAG Awards will be held on Sunday, January 27, 2019, at Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. The awards ceremony will be aired live on TNT and TBS beginning at 8:00 p.m. ET.
The SAG Awards can often be an indicator of nominations and eventual winners for the Oscar Awards. Since 1995, 18 lead actresses have won both SAG Awards and an Oscar, with 20 for lead actors. Best Picture nominees also often follow suit.
