Shadow Ridge Middle School Bomb Threat: Full Story of Evacuation

Shadow Ridge Middle School in Thornton, Colorado, has been evacuated due to a bomb threat.

At this time, the Thorton Police Department said that they are currently conducting a search of Shadow Ridge Middle School and that students will be reunited with parents at 1500 E. 128th Ave.

The students and staff of Shadow Ridge Middle School are not thought to be in danger at this time, as they were all safely evacuated from the school.

The Thorton Police Department released a statement about the bomb threat and evacuation on Twitter at 1:59 p.m.:

“Shadow Ridge Middle School being evacuated due to bomb threat. School search being conducted now. Student reunification will be at 1500 E. 128th Ave. Updates as investigation continues,” the tweet read.

Shadow Ridge Middle School is located at 12551 Holly St in Thornton, Colorado, and is a part of the Adams 12 Five Star Schools district.
