If we were to keep a list of famous women we would NOT want to mess with, Cardi B would certainly be near the top. In fact, she’d probably be our #1 choice. Straight out of The Bronx and as much of a loose cannon as they come, Cardi B just strikes us as someone whose good side you want to stay on.
However, it seems that Instagram “model” Summer Bunni doesn’t agree, as she has been outed as the girl who was sleeping with Cardi’s husband, Offset.
Recently, Cardi and Offset announced they will be splitting up, and rumors seem to indicate that Offset’s relationship with Bunni is the main reason why.
Summer Bunni released the following brief statement on Instagram to address her involvement in the Cardi B/Offset situation:
“Goodmorning, a quick letter to the fans, followers, and social media outlets.
During this last 48 hours, I haven’t enjoyed the social media frenzy. Not only is it draining, but humbling. I will always be woman enough to admit when I’m wrong, and in this situation, I was. Seeing another woman’s pain does not bring me joy, nor do I think it’s funny.
I’ve always been for women supporting each other but in this situation, not only myself but others have failed. I separated myself from certain situations and people for a reason. This is not a letter for sympathy but acknowledgment to everyone whom has questions Going in 2019 focused and dedicated to becoming a better me.”
In addition to her written apology on Instagram, Bunni also recorded the following video apology, saying she didn’t know “how serious” Offset’s marriage was:
Given what we know about Cardi B, an apology seems like a wise decision from Summer Bunni.
