Kennedy Middle School Stabbing: Full Story & Must-See Details

Authorities in Woburn, Massachusettes, are currently responding to the Kennedy Middle School after reports of a student being stabbed inside of a classroom. Early reports indicate that a sixth-grade student stabbed another student with a steak knife.

Police are currently on the scene investigating the incident. At this time, while the extent of the student’s injuries was not immediately known, some reports indicate that when police arrived on the scene, they found a student suffering from a minor stab wound to the hand.

Additionally, it is not clear how many victims there are. Furthermore, it is not clear whether the victim and suspect are male or female. The stabbing was reported by a teacher at the school around 8 a.m. local time.

The school has been placed on lockdown while the police department investigates the incident. Early reports indicate that the weapon used in the stabbing was a steak knife. It’s unclear if the suspect has been placed into custody.

Following the stabbing, students are being kept in their homerooms and emergency personnel have responded to the area.

Woburn is a city in Middlesex County, Massachusetts, that is located about 9 miles north of Boston and has a population of approximately 40,000 people.
