NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal has a new show on Facebook Watch titled “Big Chicken Shaq.” In the episode that was released this week, the 7-foot-2 big man made a trip to the UFC Performance Institute in Las Vegas where he came face-to-face with UFC Hall of Famer Forrest Griffin. Shaq agreed to grappled Griffin inside of the Octagon, which proved to be a big mistake.
It didn’t take long for Griffin to use his skill set to force Shaq to tap.
Then, it got even worse for The Big Aristotle.
Next up for Shaq was UFC women’s strawweight fighter Claudia Gadelha. The 115-pounder stepped into the Octagon after Griffin tapped out Shaq and locked in a choke of her own. UFC president Dana White served as the referee for the fun and offered Shaq $2,500 if he was able to go five minutes without tapping to Gadelha. And, well, he never had to pay up.
Shaq joked about his experience during an interview with USA TODAY Sports’ For The Win.
“I was supposed to wrestler her next but she saw me wrestle with Forrest and she realized she couldn’t beat me,” he said. “Because I told her, I said, ‘Listen, little young lady, if you can make me tap out I’ll give you $10,000 right now. So then she came in in the back and got me when I wasn’t looking.”

Perhaps it is just best for Shaq to watch MMA from the stands moving forward. Although his neck isn’t safe there, either.
