For the first time in their illustrious history, Apple is holding a hardware announcement event at the Howard Gilman Opera House in Brooklyn, New York.
Insiders expect Apple to unveil new iPad Pros, a refreshed MacBook Air, updated iMacs, updated AirPods, and the return of the Mac Mini.
Additionally, Apple is expected to announce the release of iOS 12.1, which will see the introduction of Group FaceTime, new emojis, live Depth Control in-camera previews, and Dual SIM support for Apple’s latest iPhones. Reports and rumors indicate that the 2018 iPad Pro models are expected to adopt an iPhone X-style design with no Home button, slimmer bezels, and a TrueDepth camera system that will enable Face ID for biometric authentication.
Furthermore, updates for the macOS 10.14.1, watchOS 5.1, and tvOS 12.1 are also expected.
Apple is streaming today’s event live on its website for desktop and through the Apple Events app on the Apple TV.
