An adorable video showing a kindhearted teacher in Mexico helping a young special needs student join his friends in a dance has gone viral on social media for all the right reasons.
The woman in the video — who has since been identified on social media as Melissa — can be seen assisting a special needs student in folk dance by strapping his legs to her legs and carrying him as she danced.
The video was recorded at the Gabriela Mistral Federal Elementary school in Tlaxcala, Mexico, on Friday, September 28.
At the time of this writing, the video has over 40 million views on social media. Comments on social media have praised the teacher’s kindness and willingness to go above and beyond to help a student in need.

The Gabriela Mistral Federal Elementary school website says that their teachers and staff are dedicated to providing a high quality, dual language elementary education in an academically challenging, supporting and safe environment to all students from diverse backgrounds and experiences.
