The Ultimate Fighting Championship returns to pay-per-view on Saturday, Oct. 6 with the highly-anticipated UFC 229 event which features the return of former two-division champion Conor McGregor. McGregor, who has been out of action for nearly two years, is set to return to action against current UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov. The event is set to take place at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
Along with Nurmagomedov vs. McGregor, the main card features a lightweight contest between top contenders Tony Ferguson and Anthony Pettis, a light heavyweight bout between Ovince Saint Preux and Dominick Reyes, Derrick Lewis vs. Alexander Volkov in a heavyweight brawl, and the main card opener between Felice Herrig and Michelle Waterson in the women’s strawweight division.
