Shannon Ihrke is a stunning former Marine who parlayed her gorgeous looks into a modeling career.
Ihrke, who is 29 at the time of this writing, joined the military when she was just 19-years-old and served on active duty for four years.
Following her active duty service, Ihrke was able to earn a science degree from Elmhurst College in Illinois due to the GI Bill. And after college, she began her modeling career.
Now that she’s off the battlefield and out of the classroom, Ihrke has turned her attention to Instagram, as she now has over 100,000 followers.

After leaving the Marines, Shannon turned her ambitions to modeling.
“In the military, I was always concerned about being the best I could be for my brothers and sisters in arms. In the modeling world, you really have to push yourself to success because no one is going to do it for you, you have to go out and get it yourself,” she said.
She added: “I owe the Marine Corps my life, hands down. It gave me a reason to wake up, push myself, set goals, and to push myself even harder when things got tough.”
“Had I not had other dreams I still wanted to accomplish in my life I would have re-enlisted without hesitation… and although I am no longer on active duty, I will always bleed green.”
“Some people spend an entire lifetime wondering if they made a difference in the world. But the Marines don’t have that problem,” Ihrke said.
Ihrke, who was previously featured as a Maxim cover girl, will appear in the 2019 edition of Thomas Prusso’s Military Glamour Calendar.
