Kate Bolduan has been a mainstay at CNN for years. If you watch the news, you have seen her on a number of shows across the network including At This Hour with Kate Bolduan, State of America with Kate Bolduan, and previously New Day and The Situation Room. The Goshen, Indiana native began her journalism career after obtaining her degree from George Washington University.
Immediately after college, where she walked on to the George Washington volleyball team, Bolduan began her career as a reporter for WTVD-TV in Raleigh, North Carolina. She also worked for NBC News and MSNBC. Ultimately, she found her way to CNN as a national correspondent.
Once at CNN, Bolduan wasted no time making her presence felt. She broadcasts live from CNN’s New York Studios in Manhattan and worked her way up to having her own show. Bolduan has also worked as a reporter covering the 2016 U.S. Presidential race. Bolduan was part of a viral moment during the campaign when she challenged a claim from Trump advisor Stephen Miller and grilled Kris Kobach about the claims of voter fraud from the Trump campaign.
“Miller says look to you, sir, for the evidence,” she told Kobach urging for evidence “Where is it? You are saying that there is going to be more data coming at the end of the month. Do you have the evidence?”
In her personal life, Bolduan is married to Michael Gershenson. The couple has two daughters, Cecelia Eve Gershenson who was born in September 2014 and Delphine Esther who was born in December 2017.
