May 2018 has been an absolutely MONSTER month for the box office. With Avengers: Infinity War‘s release at the end of April, the blockbuster has carried on and remained at the top of the box office for over three weeks. It finally lost the top spot to fellow superhero movie Deadpool 2, and now that movie runs into a similar problem as the Star Wars franchise returns to theatres with the release of Solo: A Star Wars Story. Comics and Star Wars so hot right now. Comics and Star Wars.
A bunch of future releases got new trailers this week, and whether you’re into blockbusters, serious dramas, or even something in between, there’s something here for you. Check out this week’s must-see trailers below.

Shock and Awe
If you’re a journalism nerd like me and/or you loved Spotlight and were “meh” on The Post, it looks like you’ll probably dig this one. With the cast it has — Woody Harrelson, James Marsden, Tommy Lee Jones, Jessica Biel and Milla Jovovich– it certainly looks like it could be something special.
Official synopsis:

Shock and Awe will be released on July 13th, 2018.
Hotel Artemis
Now this movie is going to be awesome. Hotel Artemis takes a super exciting concept combines it with a great cast and gives us more Jeff Goldblum. Let’s be honest more Goldblum is good for everyone.

Set in riot-torn, near-future Los Angeles, ‘Hotel Artemis’ follows the Nurse, who runs a secret, members-only emergency room for criminals.
