Phoebe Mary Waller-Bridge is an English actress, writer, playwright, and director who was born in West London, to Michael Cyprian Waller-Bridge and Teresa Mary Waller-Bridge. When she grew up, she attended St Augustine’s Priory, a Catholic independent school for girls in London, before continuing her studies at DLD College London in Marylebone, London. After that, she then graduated from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London.
She made her acting debut in 2009 when she appeared in the play Roaring Trade at Soho Theatre. She currently lives in Kensal Rise, London. She was married to Conor Woodman, a presenter and documentary filmmaker until the couple announced their divorce in 2017.
She is best known for her appearance in the Star Wars anthology movie Solo: A Star Wars Story. In addition to her appearance as L3-37, Lando’s droid companion, in Solo: A Star Wars Story, Waller-Bridge is a successful writer & producer. In 2016, it was announced in 2016 that Waller-Bridge would write and produce a drama television series called Killing Eve based on novels by Luke Jennings. The BBC America series stars Sandra Oh and Jodie Comer and premiered in April 2018.
In 2018, the stunning Waller-Bridge had a breakout role in the Star Wars film Solo: A Star Wars Story. Waller-Bridhe starred as Lando’s droid companion, L3-37.
