Jenna Johnson was a troupe member on Dancing With The Stars for two seasons before becoming a professional dancer on season 23 of the hit dance competition. In 2018, she returned for her second dancer as a pro in season 26 — which is a special all-athlete edition of the show — where she was paired with Olympic figure skater Adam Rippon. The duo made earned a spot in the season finale.
Before she ever made it on Dancing With The Stars, the 24-year-old was a contestant on season 10 of So You Think You Can Dance. Johnson was eliminated after reaching the Top 8.
She is currently dating professional ballroom dancer Valentin Chmerkovskiy.
“Jenna is a huge asset to the show,” Chmerkovskiy gushed about Johnson, via People Magazine. “I think she’s an incredible talent. I’m a huge fan. I think she’s the best girl here, so I’m excited to see her here.”
Outside of Dancing With The Stars, Johnson is a five-time U.S. National Latin Champion, U.S. National Youth 10 Dance Champion, and a three-time National Contemporary Winner. She represented the United States at the World Latin Championships in 2012 in Beijing, China.
