The LA native was born March 18, 1979 to Fredric and Patsy Levine, who divorced when Levine was seven. Levine has a brother Michael, half-siblings Liza and Sam, and a stepsister, Julia. 1994-1997
Levine formed his first band, Kara’s Flowers, in 1994 with several friends from high school.
