Jacyln Hill is a YouTube personality who rose to fame thanks to her makeup tutorial videos. Her big breakout video came in July 2017 when she filmed a video with Kim Kardashian titled, “Get Ready with Me & Kim Kardashian.” She has since amassed 5 million subscribers on YouTube and a whopping 5.3 million followers on Instagram. Hill was married to Jon Hill, but after nine years the couple announced their divorce on May 16, 2018.
Hill announced her divorce after rumors began circling online after she unfollowed him on Instagram and began sending out cryptic messages on Twitter.
She released a brief statement acknowledging their split.
The statement read:
“After almost nine years of marriage, Jon and I have decided to divorce. Although this has been one of the hardest decisions of our lives, I know it’s what is best for both of us. I will always have love for him, and I am so grateful for all the good times we shared together. My heart is broken by this, but I still believe in love and believe everyone has a chance for a happy ending. Thank you so much for your love and support towards the both of us.
Last month Hill wrote, “I miss you guys so much
I just feel like I can’t film right now because I’m not myself. It’s easy to take a photo & post to IG. But I’m in a very weird place in life & filming is very hard. But I am not abandoning Youtube. My personal life is just taking up a lot of my time.”
