The 2018 NBA Draft Lottery takes place Tuesday, May 15. With the Eastern and Western Conference Finals in full swing, it’s time for the league to determine the official draft order for next month’s draft which will be held at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. The latest batch of potential NBA stars will be learning where they will begin their professional careers, but first teams will have to find out where they will be slotted at the top of the draft.
Entering Tuesday night in Chicago, which is the first time the NBA Draft Lottery has been held outside of the New York metropolitan area, the Phoenix Suns have the best chance to land the No. 1 overall pick.
The Memphis Grizzlies, Dallas Mavericks, Atlanta Hawks, and Orlando Magic are the other teams with greater than a 10 percent chance to land the top pick.
