Marina Gray is the reigning Miss Maine USA 2018 and a real national hero. The 23-year-old Mount Desert Island native is a military leader who earned Non-Commissioned Officer of the Year at her unit. She succeeded 2017 winner Brooke Lindsay Harris to claim the crown.
Outside of the pageant and military world, Gray has a passion for filmmaking and has plans to attend graduate school with the goal of obtaining a Masters Degree in Documentary Production. Growing up, Gray initiated legal emancipation at age 16 and proved that a strong mind and willpower can lead to success.

Miss USA takes place Monday, May 21 at Hirsch Memorial Coliseum in Shreveport, Louisiana. The pageant will air live on FOX. The Miss Universe pageant will take place at a yet-to-be-determined date.
