Olivia Suchko will take the stage at the upcoming Miss USA pageant as Miss Pennsylvania USA 2018. The 22-year-old Belle Vernon native succeeded 2017 winner Cassandra Angst. Suchko will be searching for Miss Pennsylvania USA’s first Top 15 finish since Jessica Billings in 2013. Suchko completed her degree in fashion merchandising and is currently starting her own business to provided “tailored clothing for the young, professional and stylish businesswoman.” She also volunteers at the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, the Lending Hearts Association, and the Mel Blount Initiative.
Always one to stay busy, Suchko launched the nonprofit organization “WeAreOne” to help bring the Pittsburgh community together with family-friendly events.
She hopes to use her platform as Miss Pennsylvania USA “to inspire the youth to be interested in learning and find their best path in life.”

Miss USA takes place Monday, May 21 at Hirsch Memorial Coliseum in Shreveport, Louisiana. The pageant will air live on FOX. The Miss Universe pageant will take place at a yet-to-be-determined date.
