Brittinay Nicolette is the reigning Miss Maryland USA 2018 and will be representing her home state in the upcoming MIss USA competition. The 26-year-old Fallston native succeeded 2017 winner Adrianna Christine David to win the crown. While Miss Maryland USA has not been a finalist in the past two years, there was a string of top 15 finishes from 2011-2015, including 2012 first runner-up Nana Meriweather.
Nicolette is a Transplant Coordinator for the Living Legacy Foundation of Maryland, which facilitates organ recoveries for the purpose of life-saving organ transplants. If Nicolette brings home the Miss USA crown, she hopes “to spend her year advocating for Americans to save lives by registering to become Organ, Eye, and Tissue donors.”
She is also a survivor of sexual assault and dating abuse, which has caused her to lead an effort to spread awareness by sharing her own experience as an advocate for Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence Awareness.

Miss USA takes place Monday, May 21 at Hirsch Memorial Coliseum in Shreveport, Louisiana. The pageant will air live on FOX. The Miss Universe pageant will take place at a yet-to-be-determined date.
