Dani Walker, a YouTube star who has a positivity-centered channel, is the reigning Miss Montana USA 2018 and will be looking to become the first Miss Montana USA to win the Miss USA competition or the first to place in the Top 20 since the 1950s. The 28-year-old Billings native succeeded 2017 winner Brooke Bezanson.
Walker’s YouTube channel featured an original vlog series that detailed her “Road to Miss Montana USA.” The vlog series was nominated for Best Social Media, Best Video Blogger, and Best Pageant content at the 2018 Global Beauty Awards.
She hopes to use her platform as Miss Montana USA “to establish a global brand that provides additional services and products, which will narrow the opportunity gap for people of all socio-economic classes, while enabling them to do more.”

Miss USA takes place Monday, May 21 at Hirsch Memorial Coliseum in Shreveport, Louisiana. The pageant will air live on FOX. The Miss Universe pageant will take place at a yet-to-be-determined date.
