Megan Olivi is a fixture in the combat sports world. After joining the Ultimate Fighting Championship as a correspondent, Olivi has had the opportunity to travel the world and continues to be in front of the camera bringing mixed martial arts fans exclusive backstage interviews from the moments immediately after a major fight takes place.
Olivi was born in New Jersey, but was raised in Nazareth, Pennsylvania before returning to South Orange, New Jersey for her undergrad studies at Seton Hall.
Olivi moved to Las Vegas after finishing her undergrad studies at Seton Hall University and her master’s degree in Public Communications and Mass Media Studies at Fordham University. It was then that she fell in love with the sport and began climbing the ranks within the UFC. After a brief gig with the San Diego Padres, Olivi returned to the UFC where she now hosts UFC Ultimate Insider on FOX Sports 1 and makes various appearances across the network and during UFC broadcasts.
You can also see Olivi hosting her own show on UFC Fight Pass — “The Exchange with Megan Olivi” — while also hosting Fan Q&As with some of the UFC’s top fighters ahead of ceremonial weigh-in shows and other major events.
Olivi has been married to UFC flyweight contender Joseph Benavidez since 2015.
In her free time, when she’s not busy traveling the world with the UFC, she “enjoys spending time with her dog, hiking, running, doing yoga and cooking,” according to her website.
