The 2018 Kentucky Derby took place on Saturday, May 5 at Churchill Downs in Louisville, Kentucky. It marked the 144th running of the first leg of the Triple Crown, which is also known as “The Most Exciting Two Minutes In Sports” and “The Run for the Roses.” The 20-horse field hit the dirt track for another exciting edition of the 1.25-mile race on NBC.
